About The Artwork

Title: "Inferno's Embrace" The painting "Inferno's Embrace" portrays a majestic and awe-inspiring fire goddess, the embodiment of the primordial forces of creation and destruction. The Fire Goddesses stand at the forefront of the canvas, a radiant figure cloaked in flames that dance and flicker with vibrant intensity. Their fiery hair cascades in an ethereal display of plumes, reminiscent of erupting volcanic smoke, billowing upward in a mesmerizing dance of reds. Fire Goddesses stoke the power within our sisters! These fiery Volcano Goddesses, the creator of islands, stand serenely before explosive endless erupting volcanoes as plumes rise out the feminine into the heavens. This series The Elements - Humbled by Nature is a fusion of styles; abstract and figurative, morphing people I know and places I've lived to create my own mythological archetypes in surreal landscapes. I paint on heavy large linen panels which eventually hang loosely, to evoke the feeling of a tapestry. The original works were painted using acrylic paints and gold leaf on Italian linen in Piemonte, Italy.

I paint fervently for long intervals, as if I were walking blindfolded through nature, feeling the color with my skin. My artwork is represented in private and corporate collections in the United States, Switzerland, France and The Netherlands. Notable Exhibitions: Galerie Cècile Charron in Paris, Galleria del Arte Ill Milennio in Venice, Gallery Knoerle Baetig Fine Art, Galerie Mainau, Zurcher Kantonal Bank and AXA Winterthur in Switzerland. Internships In the Netherlands I apprenticed with the painter poet Anton Martineu, attended the Rietveld academy, and in India at the Honey Arts Modelling center I apprenticed in the "lost wax method" bronze casting technique. In Iceland I established the platform Fluxus Design Tribe and produced the film Pourqois Pas Borgarnes. Maine's Cafe Review selected the Mermaid for their cover of the Icelandic Poetry Edition. I am the co-founder and producer of MAP Magazine Artist Professionals and the Open Doors Event and Outside Inside platforms for artists working in Winterthur Switzerland. I gained Dutch and US attention with my illustrations in the book 'Closed Curtains Lives of de Wallen'. Other illustrations of mine have been published by the Dutch & Belgium publication 'Joie de Vivre'.
