My work is inspired by the drama of life and nature. In the Tosca series the Bull's skull is split in half. Creating tension between the two sides, as in dark and light. The space between becomes a place for our reflection. This particular series of three is named for the opera Tosca and it's great spectacle. The divided skull mirror's our own duality and perceptions. I believe that the skull represents naked truth and serves us as a reminder of a larger universal purpose. By combining my skills in drawing, photography, painting and sculpture I create mixed media collage's of personal expression and vision.
