ABOUT THE ARTWORK
this is a two plate etching combining photographic collage with drawing. The drawn plate employed sugar lift, aquatint and soft ground. This etching belongs to a series of paintings, drawings and prints in which I was trying to capture human moments of difficulty, unease etc that never find their way into the perfect interior magazine adverts. This etching is printed on Fabriano Rosapina paper with a hand torn decolled edge suitable for float mount framing or traditional framing with a window mount.
