Urban scene under the rain. Vintage composition. The artwork is a hand painted digital composition based on the modernist and deconstructionist masters.
Reds and pinks capture your gaze on rainy days. A gray Autumn day becomes a dance of colors and harsh shapes of the city become the scenary of everyday urban theather.

I like to push the boundaries between figurative and abstract, each triangle, rectangle has been carefully chosen to give the viewer the option of seeing both background and figure as an integrated landscape. The colours have been chosen to be both calm and amusing, playing with the idea of space with each colour giving a different sense of depth. Rain evokes melancholy, but colours bring you back to the cheerful, fast changing, alive urban stage. Colour and form with a Modernist Art sensibility.
