About The Artwork
My favorite animal is the Buffalo, or Bison. The American bison, or plains buffalo is the national mammal of the United States. My buffalo image is placed in the midst of a lightning storm, which could be interpreted as a literal storm, or metaphorically. This is a limited edition print, carved onto a linoleum block, then hand printed on archival Japanese Kitakata paper, on my etching press. Print area is about 12 x 9 inches, paper measures about 17 x 14 inches. Each print is signed by the artist, numbered and is an original piece of art.
