I am a visual artist based in Wellington, New Zealand. Printmaking and programming support my art practice. I create programs that fashion keys according to simple rules which are chosen to investigate process and materials through lithographic and screen printing techniques. I am interested in how we perceive, which gives me my task; to give the viewer work that keeps them suspended in the search for meaning; a sign or sign complex that they have to fill with signification themselves. I am also interested in challenging the conventions of the medium, such as the accepted rules of printmaking.
