2012 PORSCHE 911 Carrera GTS B59 Edition The bronze sculpture represents the five Porsche factory B59 Editions produced by PORSCHE to commemorate the legendary endurance driver Hurley Haywood's five victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona, as well as to honor the close working relationship that Brumos Racing has had with PORSCHE over the years. I was inspired to sculpt the B59, as I was one of the lucky PORSCHE enthusiast to receive one of the very limited edition models, #3 of 5. The design of the inonic PORSCHE 911 is an art form and I felt compelled to imortalize the car for all to enjoy. The bronze is finished in a traditional french brown patina and has a hand forged hammered steel base representing the iconic corkscrew turn at Laguna Seca. The B59 bronze is interactive on the base, positionable with magnets or can be displayed seperately. The base measures 19 in. L X 7.5 in. W X 7 in. H. Eventualy, the viewer cannot resist holding the car for a close personal inspection to enjoy the detail. The B59 bronze will be produced in a limited Editon of 59 to honor the Brumos Racing heritage.
