Born 1/4/60. I live half the year in Nepal the rest of the year working in the West to make money so that i can work on my art,and other projects. Most of my art work is made on the move as it is to costly to have a studio here, Most of my art work is now done in Nepal. For me its the best place to be, I can paint make my silver work and objects as well as do my design work on buildings. Its just a great place to be for the arts. Iv been painting from the age of about 2 like all of us. At the age of 11 I must say i spent more time in the art room than any other class, you can learn all you need to know in art from history in all forms, math, English, politics to fashion there is nothing in human life art does not touch and have an influence on. I had my first work put in a public spaces when i was around 13. But of course with age comes the need for money, so from the age of 16 iv worked in the building trades from pushing brooms to painting, building and designing all over the world iv worked on projects from $500m to as little as $200. All the time im working on buildings or my art work one crosses over to the other. What ever country im working in i can take something from there to create something new, so its a two way thing i leave something and i take some thing and i hope it leaves both in balance and both moving forward. So art work and inspiration for me just go hand in hand as inspiration feeds my art and art feeds my inspiration. A bit like what came first the chicken or the egg!
