ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hand-made sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The "Accoccolati" sculpture is part of the PRISMA Collection, characterized by the use of enamelled ceramic cubes. Accoccolati is inspired by love, where the heart has home. The processing of this work is carried out entirely by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, or in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back to several million years ago, makes it suitable for processing details. The sculpture ACCOCCOLATI, like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-sculpted, is unique and signed in etching by the artist.
