ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The batuque or african drums is part of African folklore, perhaps the oldest and most used musical instrument in Africa and possibly invented in Africa, so I have a duty to have and make it a work of art and musical instrument, carved in sounding wood and original goatskin, ready to be used or as a decoration and collection piece. This drum was made in the most traditional and original way of the drums used in traditional ceremonies.
