About The Artwork
This little house has built after the storm that hit Columba SC in 2015. I came to visit my new love, driving from Charlotte to Columbia for the weekend and the skies opened up and dumped so much water in his city that it flooded areas surrounding his neighborhood and I couldn't go back home for four days. The roads were damaged, trees felled and many dams broke. Homes were damaged and repairs could not be done for over a year so much work had to be done. I built this little house to bring awareness for victims of the flood who suffered with rebuilding or cleaning the mess, mildew and more for over two years.
