Sculpture: Ceramic, Wood, Steel, Metal on Stainless Steel, Wood, Ceramic.
Agat is a kinetic sculpture. Tabletop standing, moving sculpture, powered by air flow. Inspired by Phallomancy, a study of leaves. Wood veneer elements are representative of leaves and ceramic silver plated base of a tree.
Due to the sculpture’s kinetic properties, the physical presence of a person changes the immediate future of this seemingly lifeless object. Agat can have a pacifying, meditative effect on the viewer, it focuses on finding a metaphysical connection between the viewer and the object. Not only can a person affect the object, but the changed dynamic of the object also determines the person's future state of mind.
