Did you see an alien? I do not, but who knows, maybe he shows to me one day :)
This sculpture belongs to the cycle of MESH AND MYSTERY. There is a lot of obscure news and events, often leaving lot of space for imagination. A small alien would be interesting on your desk, shelf, or any other interesting place in the home or business space.
Technique is interesting. The waves is turned into copper by laboratory technique Electroforming. Electroforming is the transformation of organic and inorganic matter into copper, alchemy, and the challenge for creation. Cardboard become copper, have heavy and tactility as copper. A piece of solid wood is covered with epoxy, epoxy is and 4 "legs" on the bottom.
"Alien" body is created from electroformed cardboard, copper tube and wire and cone brass ornament as head.
