This unique suspended light was first designed and handcrafted for the XIVth century collegiate church of Bueil-en-Touraine (France) by Natacha MONDON and Eric PIERRE in 2008. It was awarded numerous prizes. Four cherub’s wings, made of kiln formed glass, are suspended in a revolving movement around a central light coming from above. This formal transposition of St. Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologiae, and his poetic equivalent found in Dante’s Divine Comedy, shows the Angelic Choirs around the Throne of God. Four of them were initially made for the collegiate church. This one is our carefully handcrafted prototype.
