Panel which is made from black coal, as a gesture of Art, is placed in a certain space and context, which does not make us think of the place where it was produced. But along with this, we can not perceive Anthracite only as an artistic material; its brilliance, structure, name and the fact that it is coal, all this gives our thoughts special direction.
Touch it, feel the fear of despair and danger that awaits those who are in the territory of costly coal deposits.
Creating this project I wanted to show that coal could also be a beautiful and complex art material that encourages to immerse in the image of the events - to inbreathe sculptural anthracite fumes, to comprehend the depth of the situation on the territory of Ukraine
