About The Artwork
In early 2020, I felt inspired to create fragrant mandalas. I arrived at my studio and put on a quiet meditation song, then started doing the first mandala with my free mind and a calm heart. I spent exactly 14 hours building the first mandala and I liked the result. I make mandalas with the scent of lavender or rose in the form of art / sculpture. I hope that the people who look at these mandalas will be curious to observe them in detail and that the result of that observation will lead them to themselves. These pieces decorate any environment and can also be used to meditate on everything that is seen in its unique and harmonious construction. In addition, its light aroma that leads to a feeling of freshness and tranquility.

Valeria Diaz was born in the city of Recife, Brazil, and at the early age of 7 she was already very interested in observational drawing. Her father was a tailor and her mother a seamstress. Valeria started sewing her own clothes from the age of 14. When the time came for her to pick a profession at 16, she decided to study Product Design at UFPE University (Recife / Brazil), getting her bachelor's degree in 1987. After that, she decided to start her own gym and beachwear company. In 2010, when Valeria Diaz was living in England, she decided to channel her talents to start a painting career as an intuitive self-taught painter and pursue her place in the art world. Back in Brazil in 2011, she participated in several exhibitions in Brazil, an Art Fair in Paris and another in Finland. In 2018, the artist moved to the United States. Valeria´s art is vibrant, original and interactive. Her art continues to decorate and beautify several homes and offices around the world.
