born 1966 wellington new Zealand am a mixed-media artist, i have sculpted & painted for 30 years. I work in plastics, wood, stone, paints- I trained as a carver wood, stone & bone - but have branched out into all sorts of materials for art making/ expressing.My art is a mixture of expressive paint & low relief sculpture, I do some sculpture in the round. My sculptural inspirations are Brancusi, Hepworth, New Zealand carving, Japanese stone carving. Painting, I like the abstract expresionists, expresionism. I am quite into the minimalists, in both sculpture & painting.
