Acrylic and enamel paint on image transfer monoprint, paper, repurposed aluminum, wire and mesh.

THE ARTISANAL SERIES

This piece was the beginning of the more “wild” works, with flowing long “ribbons” of repurposed aluminum reaching and stretching out further than in past works of the series and that you see used in the larger sculptural paintings.

This piece is unique too in that the center piece, the green paper used was printed using an image transfer technique. Sentimental items from my home were photographed, put into photoshop to create a unique pattern, then used to create the print on the paper.
