Athena Sculpture

Every part of our life, every one of our behaviours, every one of our decisions can be considered through two facets: the "pseudo" intentions we show the outside world and the "true" intentions which most people keep tucked away in the grey matter between our ears. My work explores intellectual asymmetries, both observable and inferable. It explores the duality and tension of competing forces both in our personal and professional lives. I try to manifest the delicate dance between the observable and unobservable. Other times I imagine the range of tensions experienced by a subject and represent the most unique or interesting facets.
