About The Artwork

Augmented reality + Corest, 45 x 45 x 115(h) cm, Hot glue_wire welding_stitching_Black thread_urethane coating, / 2014 The Work Note The experiment on unconsciousness A dream is not achieve without a stimulation or information, too, as an artistic activity is not achieve without a conscious stimulation or an unconscious one, in everyday life. Receiving a stimulation is the same with receiving some inspiration, just the same, a dream give us some inspiration and symbolization. And as a world of art that we can make, cannot be defined, a world of dream that we image, is laid in the outside of our imagination, too. My work attempts to present ‘a world of dream’ as a combination of unconsciousness and consciousness, like appearing by writer’s a mental state. In looking deep into the work, ‘The stranger’s a trap’, human and dog that the inside and the outside are broken, charge a medium that connects a world of spirit, for a duty of a way toward invisible world. Drawing series is made by imagery of an island that floats in a world over the invisible wall. Everyone rarely dream in every night. It may be a experience of life that everyone know. The researcher attempts to make the research report on repetition phenomenons about events that appear in these dreams. To dream in everyday life is the other oneself to develop ego in unconsciousness newly. My research is proceeded by a memo and Drawing reported on morning or night, about phenomenon that happens in a dream. It makes and researches artworks of stories or scenes that appeared at the moment, of constitution element. This research examines ‘what is a world of dream in our unconscious state?’. And to present such a dream, it attempts to take the dream as an objectified fact, and to visualize a dream, out of box. As an example, ‘augmented reality’’ sculptured groups are made by a training to remember events in a dream. Combination of Drawing and Object that made of series, now, makes dreamlike images of a last dream of complanation through Drawing, at first, and it presents that of a plastic product by processing Object. When images of a dream is drawn in reality, a difficult point is pictures drawn without an accurate memory. In personal opinion, colors of my dream seems always a black and white. There are accurate things, but mostly, there are things that inaccurate shapes or images are presented by putting flesh on personal imagination. In other words, it researches a mental state like loneliness, love, obsession, anxiety, etc, by using laver of accurate memory and a faint thing. - in the Work Note
