B.T. Sculpture

A portrait of a friend who works on a daily basis helping people as a paramedic, and is also a fascinator of philosophy, a Plato, Socrates and other ancient thinkers, which is a common reason for common discussion. The sculpture was first made in clay and then the casting process was done entirely by myself. The sculpture was on exhibitions in Poland and Germany. The choice of material which is bronze was dictated by reference to classical busts and sculptures that were cast in bronze. This is a contemporary comment and also an expression of respect through the continuation of ancestral technology. The texture and the way of carving have the character of being immersed and created the autotelic structure of the sculpture in order to give the sculpture spirituality and individual expression, and also shows the artistry the artist uses.
