Art Description

Sculpture: Paper, Wood, Spray Paint, 3D Sculpting on Cardboard, Paper, Wood, Other.

My Art Labour and Craft is inspired by the beauty of Indonesia. Bali is where everything started and where I am based until present time. By combining multiple disciplines in making Artwork, from Origami, illustration, self made pattern, colouring and elaborating into a frame box, is my way to create new breeze of innovated work of art. Paper is the main commodity. Started with folding and making shapes from white paper, unfold them to start making pattern, colouring and fix the colour with transparent lacquer spray, ending with folding back those Origami applique. Once having sufficient origami appliques to make An Artwork, then the next step is to elaborate those Origami appliques into a frame box with industrial adhesive and metal nails. All this artistic labour is my way to stand out in Art Terrain showing not just an innovation but also to own a uniqueness and originality.
