My inspiration for the series ' Balance ' arises from the gratieuze and sometimes very difficult but easy looking disproportionate movements of people. The created disproportionately women, of the series "balance", provide some sort of surprise effect. Starting point is a fixation of a momentum of movement making them an unlikely balance. And it looks like they experience no gravity. Their attitudes are playful, ingenious and frivolous. A smile is therefore unavoidable. I hope people to put up a smile on their face and in their hearts. She is my own artist model. Totally I made seven of her. And this is NUMBER ONE

Follow me by clicking on 'Following' above Creating is my obsessive compulsive drive. The search for what I want is sometimes unclear. Inspired by flashes of thought in my head, I am challenged to create things and bend them to my will. Throughout my life, shapes and colors keep me busy. Depending on context, insights, starting points and perspectives, they are always in flux. They change through time so doubt strikes and chaos is sometimes complete. Another challenging aspect in my work, besides form and color, is the diversity of technical possibilities and materials. Here too lies a great challenge for me. I find it very important to master the techniques I need for my works myself. So that I can use and apply these completely at my own discretion in my work. Where possible, this also applies to the materials I use. Materials I frequently work with are; wax, clay, acrylic paint, oil paint, mixed media, yarns, bronze, metals and wood. Techniques that spark my curiosity are; photography, digital, woodworking, metalworking, cutting and engraving work. All of these work I continue to develop and improve. It is good to experience that it is always improving and renewing itself. The last act is therefore liberating for me. It is up to another whether it is good or not. Farewell to the work is then inevitable.
