Bipolaire Sculpture

"The Earth is bipolar. No doubts about this, right? Just like us. So why do we oppose each other? " Plantspot. Raw clay. A few words about me… I am quite selfish as an artist. I do what I like. And I love being altruist. I love sharing my art and letting it live its destiny.I am a very down-to-earth dreamer. My conviction is that art must speak to people and be rooted in their day-to-day lives. Me discovering sculpture was the result of fate. After studies in product industrial design, I then discovered the universe of ceramics. It is throughout my artistic path that is became obvious that I should turn to sculpture… And about my sculptures... There was a time I crafted my sculptures in clay for an ephemeral life. I felt I ought to give them back to their bearer: Mother Earth. The life cycle. Today, I mould them into bronze for eternity. I want them to live, to be touched and stroked. Bronze calls for this sensorial intimacy. It lives and matures through this contact. A unique bond is formed with the sculpture. So I sculpt busts of muted women who, like many others, have a lot to speak out for. Most of them are adorned with an item from daily life as it is here and now that we are living. In the real world. J’aime partager mon art et lui laisser vivre son destin. Je suis une rêveuse pragmatique. Pour moi, l’art doit être proche des gens et ancré dans leur quotidien.. Ma rencontre avec la sculpture en tant qu’art est le fruit du destin. Après des études en design industriel de produit, j’ai rencontré le monde de la céramique, et c’est au fil de ce parcours que la sculpture est venue à moi, comme une évidence. Et à propos de mes sculptures... Fut un temps, je ne leur souhaitais qu’un fugace passage dans cette vie et je les créais en argile, pour ensuite les rendre à leur terre d’origine. Le cycle de la vie. Aujourd’hui, je les façonne, en bronze, pour l’éternité. Elles doivent vivre, être touchées, caressées. Le bronze appelle cette intimité sensorielle, il évolue au contact de l’autre. Un lien, se créé avec la sculpture. Alors je sculpte ces bustes de femmes, muettes, qui, comme beaucoup de femmes, ont beaucoup à dire. Elles ont presque toutes, sur elles, un objet du quotidien.
