Birth Sculpture

Leading motive for my artistic life is a search for balance and harmony. My bronzes are made of natural material, big leaves, branches, wood and dirt. Like they grown on there own, like fossils. They make an intriguing combination, brittle leaves changed in imperishable bronze. I feel a strong connection with the animated world of old cultures, when nature was sacred and people looked within for motives and colors. To create is humans ability touse the power of the soul. To share the love for creation, as we walk this amazing planet. Jessy Kok makes paintings in mixed media, drawings, etchings and bronze sculptures and occasionly an ornament in silver or gold.
