Planet Earth is changing beyond recognition, faster than any other planet in the Solar System. While the Earth consists of giant land masses constituting mountains, plateaus, plains, rivers and large number of trees and animals, the land masses are separated by massive oceans. But the loss of flora and fauna due to sudden and rapid change in temperature has left only a few broken remnants in the barren lands. All that will be left for the future to witness will be our construction causing destruction of natural life. Increasing population, and deforestation has put our planet in danger, in a crisis. Once all the animals and plants perish from Earth, it must be known that we humans would perish too. Our greed for betterment of life, for a secured future has pushed us to take steps which will eventually bring about the destruction of the entire species. Our greed is grasping the entire ecosystem, like a hungry tide. The way we are extracting and destroying natural resource, from the land to the oceans, and from the air to soil, nature will collapse soon help us walk towards extinction. Representing the dis-balanced ecology we are dwelling on by consuming mostly non-renewable natural resources from mountains, rivers, forests, this art piece gives an aerial view of the receding resources on Earth. While we humans simply consume them like it is our right to have a hearty meal after a hard day of work, what goes unnoticed is the oncoming of a massive destruction with the vanishing forests, broken mountains, and drying rivers.
