Blind-side Sculpture

Born October 1973, Northampton, England. Originally I grew up in the modern town of Milton Keynes, but now I live in historic Northampton. I am a self-taught artist and I left school half way through my A-levels. I have an overwhelming love of art and it's associated history, which has lead me to paint numerous symbolic, abstract and surreal pictures in both oils and acrylics. I enjoy works by many of the great artists and feel influenced by the likes of Escher, Bosch, Matisse and Bacon to name but a few. I am equally interested in creating sculptures and furniture and have even designed the occasional tattoo. At present, I am passionate about resurrecting and preserving things from my past . These currently include vinyl LPs and singles, comics and annuals. Art is a very personal thing and it amazes me how people can be affected differently by the same piece of art. This difference helps to define us as individuals and drives me to continue on my journey of creativity.
