BLOWN AWAY (Bas relief) Sculpture

Maxine Farmer is an emerging sculptor whose speciality is capturing energy and emotion as permanent 3D memories. Those ephemeral moments: a shrug of a shoulder, a twist of a neck, poised for flight…all these tell us more about each other than words ever can. Maxine delights in creating art that produces a connection or reaction, whether joy, calm, evoking a precious memory, love, inspiration, wonder, contemplation, and so on. Most of Maxine's works are sculpted in clay, plaster or mixed-media, then cast in the UK into bronze (and she has also had 3D-printed casts created in the UK). ​ A British citizen who divides her time between the UK and France, Maxine is a member of the Oxford Sculptors Group and the Visual Artists Association. Until recently focused on private commissions, she now seeks awareness of her work among a wider audience.
