Handcarved in stone grade plaster with edges gilded in 24 karrat gold leaf, this sculpture is a small monument to mistakes, imperfections and scars that makes us who we are. Inspired by Japanese technique of kintsugi and infused into portraiture.

For me it’s about research into the ‘psychological being’ through figurative pieces and playful use of different materials and textures.
