About The Artwork
I have been away on an artist residency in the Cotswolds. Reflecting and making in a studio in the woods... It's the Japanese minimalism approach that inspires me. I would like for others to see and reflect behind the feeling of feeling life. When the void is there to support us .. in its whole .. even when we think we need something else. It's just the void that will nourish us. And the perfection of the imperfection. Ceramic is my media.. I am responding to the clay ..and the clay is responding to me .. not all the time.. It's a journey.
