This is a large ceramic box, made with white stoneware clay. The box and lid have double walls. Inside is solid and can be used for storage of jewelry or anything. External walls were carefully carved by hand with free formed design. The box was glazed and fired in a very hi temperature, so it is very strong by itself. It is big and look as a decorative sculptural ceramic object. On the bottom you can see a little crack, which happens sometimes with ceramic during the firing, it's a cosmetic crack and not critical for the construction at all, I filled it with special material which became hard as stone after drying.
