Cascade is an abstract metal sculpture that embodies my exploration of the nature of space and time. Its undulating form, reminiscent of a cascading waterfall, suggests a continuous flow, much like the ceaseless passage of time. The smooth, reflective surface of the sculpture captures light and echoes the ebb and flow of the surrounding environment, creating a dialogue between the artwork and its setting. With its organic lines and seamless curves, Cascade invites comparison to nature while maintaining a modern, minimalistic aesthetic. Its bold, monolithic form takes up space, not just as a physical presence, but as an idea, a catalyst for change in the environment it occupies. Cascade is more than just a work of art; it's a transformative experience that challenges our perception of both self and space. Its very existence defies definition, constantly shifting and adapting to our changing perception, much like the elusive nature of time itself.
