Charlie's Refusal A life-sized sculpture that represents Charlie's refusal to be a robot and his return to nature. The sculpture was created in 3 months. It is a social message sculpture about humanity that is heading for robotization. Dental metal, mechanics and magnetic levitation are used to show that most people are into this metamorphosis. Humans are linked to nature and our only escape is to go back to it. That's why inside the head is painted a landscape that represents the tree of life. It is important to open our eyes, mind and soul to see, feel and approach the beauty around us. Materials used: dental metal, gypsum, oil paint, natural crystal, magnets Charlie's Refusal was presented during artist's personal exhibition in History Museum "Paul Paltanea" Galati, Romania, official documents are available.
