Sculpture made in Annealed wire, with metal foot of 6 x 110 x 110 mm. The piece is treated against oxidation with a layer of acrylic varnish, ready to be placed on top of your favorite furniture, occupying that special place in your living room, studio or office. The work is part of a series of different pieces, inspired by the chick farms where all are accumulated next to each other almost without being able to move, following a pattern of conduct until their death. The objective of this work is to create a parallelism with the massed humans in large centers of work, cities, schools, doing everything that is expected of them, following the same patterns and trying not to leave them, because it would be a repression by the other humans/chicks, who judge and retaliate until they get them to leave the henhouse or die pecked by their companions.

David S.León Reflection on humanity David S. León and his organic abstract sculpture break the air around them, achieve a magical abstraction of observation by twisting the wire, the expression and the feeling and assembling with their environment that transcend the most dynamic movement with one goal: to reflect on humanity. The forms, materials and techniques refined over the years create a continuity and give meaning to the whole work, and at the same time, its simplicity catches us in an art of seduction. An involuntary intentionality, and an intentional will. His work is based on a schematic representation, a simple idea of human figuration with pure, honest and committed lines that reproduce and are inspired by the moods, the daily life that surrounds him and, sometimes, the same perversion permeated in society. Femininity is a constant in her work and becomes a source of inspiration, strength and a lot of light. The artist sees influences from Cubist figuration, strolling through the most contemporary avant-garde and shaping his work using different techniques that have been perfected over the years.
