About The Artwork

The image you can see here is my version of the god chronus better known in greek mythology as the god of time. The artwork has been created using sculpting, plaster casting and the use of recycled parts including an up cycled mask modified for the art and up cycled hosing and vintage frame. I always try to recycle items that would normally be discarded by up cycling them repairing them and repainting them were necessary and incorporating them into my work, ill also only use pre owned frames that can be repaired and repainted some of these being antique or vintage in age.

I started out doing portrait art in my spare time for many years working on commissions, and doing all this in-between working a full time job, but now with my family grown I have the time to devote to my passion of creating art. With my more recent works I am slowly moving away from portraiture, I'm looking to develop my work by bringing portraiture to life by creating a 3D portrait, these are all ideas I've contemplated for many years and its only now that I've found the time to put my ideas down on to board and start creating.
