About The Artwork
Cloud Cover continues my exploration of folded and stuffed fabric forms as interior decorative objects, inspired by the whiplash curves and globules found in the natural world. This piece is flat at the uppermost side, allowing it to be hung in unusual positions such as the juncture of wall and ceiling, making it perfect for collectors who are running out of wall space or are looking for an art object that can be placed in uniquely configurations. Vertical hanging is achieved through a simple keyhole slot on the back. Differently oriented hanging hardware can be added upon request.

She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, and has been awarded close to two dozen artist residencies throughout North America, including opportunities at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and with Signal Fire. Born in San Francisco and raised in a nondescript Philadelphia suburb, she has lived in Houston, Texas since 2013.
