Dapple, horse sculpture 30 cm, wire & plaster Sculpture

My work has evolved from bull terrier sculptures, through Cumbrian wildlife such as birds, foxes & hares to the horses, where I live is very rural Northern England, there are nearly as many horses as there are cows and sheep. the horse is so elegant, but often becomes neglected , either through old age, or economic decline, my Dapple is slightly knobbly, bony, not in his prime anymore. Wire, paper and plaster have enabled me to make sculptures which are each unique ( no moulds), and take on their own characters while white, then inspiring the colouring once the subject is whole. thank you for looking
