About The Artwork
I'm offer a sculpture called: Dependency. The unique heart-shaped oak solitary, painted with matt varnish, is placed on a driftwood board without any new cuts without the coating leaved in the original patina. The composition is complemented by an old hook on the originaly torn metal rope. The red and blue colours emanating from the weathered holes in the board are taken from the Christian report on Crucifiction and may lead the observer to consider the consequences of our dependences.
