About The Artwork
Doesn't Fly is a crypto collectible contemporary art series based on the numerous nuanced contradictions found in relation to established fiat currencies and the blockchain. The work is both a conceptual critique and a container of real and imaginary value - where specific serialised banknotes are mechanised and filmed to produce a complementary digital file that is alocated a non-fungible token on the blockchain to ensure a permanent record. Collectors are invited to purchase both the digital file and the associated 3D work on the basis that each new work will be sold at twice the price of the previous piece.
