ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Two circular canvases worked with wax, oil and ink are glued to strong paper and riveted solidly at the edges. The bilateral, independent contraction of the rather stiff surfaces creates an unpredictable spatial structure with a strong sculptural presence. The massive base tames the wild creature and forces it into a safe position. The free-standing sculpture weighs 1.2 kg and is signed.
