About The Artwork
This glazed ceramic tile was inspired by the Spanish novel "The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha." It's earthy colors and shapes evoke the sunbaked mountains and plains of Spain as well as it's villages and churches. It's modern, cubist composition pays homage to Picasso, Braque, Leger and other cubist artists. The ceramic tile is mounted to wood and framed in shadowbox style with a contemporary wooden frame featuring highlighted edges. Artwork comes ready to hang.
