Ebony Sculpture

Born in Warwickshire, England, I grew up in Wales and the south coast. Studied fine art in London and Brighton. My inspiration comes from people-watching, music, fashion, costume, textured fabrics -and especially the way people dress for celebrations. You’ll see a lot of this in my artworks. One of the themes that I have been exploring in recent work is the way the human skull changes its reception depending on the framing e.g. hair, hats, lace, flowers -these all hold symbolism and can change in the blink of an eye as the Skull depicts/conveys its tribe.
