Ethereal as a minimalist form can suggest numerous symbology or remain as obscure with inherent mystery. The dome like upper portion could resemble an archetype of a temple, gateway or alter or firmament as containment of our world, contiousness or the soul. The rough tooled exterior is in contrast to an otherwise pushed surface revealing the inner essence of the marble. This is synonymous to the external body as weathered by time.
