ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I created this artwork to capture the devotion and frenzy on the banks of Ganges while performing the evening prayers. The atmosphere is one of hope and excitement. The priests and crowds mingling in this super charged atmosphere. The lamps lit waved by the priests while chanting the prayers are all captured on the canvas.
