Fable Sphere Vase Sculpture

This sphere shaped vase is one of the Fable series. Fable series were inspired by children's openness for exploring the world. They want to integrate all the new information without judging it. We teach them about life with fables which can be sometimes full of mean or sad things. Sometimes we'd rather leave out the bad parts. But everything is coded in the ancient tales, myths and fables. You can read out of them the laws of the life. They are very objective, so they help not to judge things as good or bad, but to understand and integrate life as it is a wide spectrum, like a rainbow. All pieces were built up by slices of white clay, shaped with wooden tools, carved with sharp tools and the grooves were filled with multicolored glaze. All of them were made by hand and one of a kind.
