About The Artwork
FACES OF STONE In my pieces I want to say that, stones are witnesses, who may be the only ones who "lived" for millions of years in this world and collected everything that passed through them: times, cataclysms, history changes, people's fates... In my vision I am trying to open those stones - to release all the information that is inside of them through the portrait - face possibility to portray emotions, moods, feelings. Based on these stone experiences I open doors and windows, I build stairs. And not just stone, but also cliff, mountain and mound hides a lot of experience inside of them. Their faces "Faces of stone" - calm, accumulated, meditating, often looking at the sky, where there are a lot of secrets and other worlds...
