Originally I modelled a figure of a woman, Karin, in clay in 2007. Later I have made moulds of the front and the back side of this figure. In 2017 I made some castings from these moulds. These ones are in plaster, placed in a wooden box, and protected by museum glass with very low reflection. Then the plaster half figures were painted in IKB/ International Klein Blue, an ultramarine color with pigment and a special medium from Adam 18 in Paris. Yves Klein (1928-62) got his paint there, to make his monochromes. This paint formula reflects more light than any other sort of color because the pigments are not drowned in the special medium but "float" on the outside of the paint (oil and acrylic fluids drowns the pigments). But, unfortunately, any touch, or dust, will knock down the color pigments and reduce the reflection. Therefore, this work is cooped up in a box.

Between childhood and my children's childhood I nearly never was creative in this way. But then, when my children began to play with clay and plaster, I returned to the creative arts. First, I worked with and attended classes in clay figure modelling. Then I also worked with more or less abstract sculpture making in paper clay, wood, plaster, resins - and got occupied with mould making in silicones and castings in plaster and resins. Also, a few works of paintings. Born 1951. Living in central Copenhagen, Denmark.
