About The Artwork
This is a reclaimed farmyard fence post from Co Kildare, Ireland. In order to bring the beauty of this wood through, its been planed, sanded and lacquered. What also adds to the beauty of this piece are the marks left by the nails that were in the wood for many years. I've hollowed out a circular hole and in it i have placed a (Blue) sprayed and lacquered wooded ball and mounted it on a solid wood (Black) sprayed and lacquered base.
