Abstract Stained Glass and Stainless Steel Garden Sculpture Sculpture

Art designed to withstand the non-sterile gallery that a garden is and to survive outside in all weathers. A segment out of a garden plan. Yellow path, blue pond, green borders and red decking! As with any garden, it constantly changes appearance during the day. This is one of the abstract stained glass & stainless steel sculptures I designed and made for Halcyon Days Garden Design showgarden at the Gardeners World Live Flowershow at the NEC, Birmingham in June 2017 and East Midlands Flower Show July 2017. I am now selling them individually. The show garden was used by the BBC for the introduction of part of Gardeners World on the 16th June 2017. The sculpture is 26.4inches (67cm) tall, 4.7inches (12cm )wide with 12inch (30cm) legs. It contains 4 glasses: red water textured translucent, green iridescent translucent, pale yellow opaque and pale blue iridescent opaque. This mixture of glass causes it to change appearance as the sun moves round and look good in any light conditions. The glass contains some ridges, creases and small bubbles, making every panel unique. The frame and legs are 4mm diameter marine grade stainless steel rods, that will never rust. Made with traditional leaded stained glass techniques the sculpture is weather proof, just like church windows and can be left out all year except in hurricane force winds and deep snow. It can be installed anywhere in your garden by just pushing the legs into the ground. You can move it easily when required to.
