Flame Sculpture

Flamenco dance is an art form. Based in Spain but associated with the Gitano (people of the Romani origin). Coming to Europe from the Indian subcontinent, they spread their incredible musical and dancing skills, coupled with the unique sensitivity to the rhythm. They have contributed significantly to the origination of Flamenco, the style of which however is unique to the Andalusian region of Spain. Very expressive form of dance with intensity of the emotions and the beauty of movements, combine together make a truly unique and beautiful performance to watch. In the sculpture of the Flame I was trying to show the intensity, the emotions and the beautiful flame like movement I often see watching Flamenco dancers.
